We know that there is often so much going on in December that sometimes it can be a little crazy when it comes to revenue for your space. We’re here to help! Here are a few easy ways to end the year on a great note.
Offer a discount on 2019 memberships

Pre-pay for 2019 and take 10% off
Charge members for 6 months or a year in advance and offer a discount. To set up this new membership type navigate from your dashboard to Members > Membership Types. Click the New Membership Type button. Set the Period Type to Monthly and the Period to 6 or 12 depending on what you want to offer. Set the membership to Recurring so it will auto bill after the 6 or 12-month period.
Sign up for a membership in the month of December and don’t pay until January 1st.
To create this discount in the Proximity Platform, navigate from your dashboard to Settings > Discounts. Set up a non-recurring discount for 100% off and select whichever monthly memberships you’d like to promote. When the member bills again in January, it will be for the full price.
Promote your conference rooms for holiday parties.
Space to celebrate gets scarce during the holidays so why not use yours for holiday parties? Decorate with a small tree, some twinkly lights, and some garland and you’ll be party-ready. Hidden bonus: You never know who will be coming to the party? Maybe your next member.
Punch Passes are great for people who are in town for the holidays.
Have you set up your daily drop in membership to be Punch Pass enabled? Punch Passes are a great way to encourage repeat drop-ins or allow for coworkers who will only be visiting for a short time.
Ask your local visitors center to share a post on social media or post a flyer alerting visitors that there’s a place to get work done during the holidays. We’ve found that visitors centers are often happy to help get the word out!
