Community hangout in a coworking space in Cincinnnati, OH

We’re so happy to announce that Cincinnati’s newest coworking space, Village, has just joined the Proximity Network! Village prides itself for allowing its members to make, “More time for the stuff that matters.” Working collaboratively is energizing and inspiring, and that’s what Village is all about. Hear what Ellen Keller, Village owner, has to say about this space.

When did you open your coworking space and what enticed you to do so?
Village’s Grand Opening was on June 6th. I was enticed to start a coworking space, because I love coworking, and I needed a space closer to my home (northern suburbs of Cincinnati). I have a very small law firm, and I love to work with other people.

Tell us about your space. How big is it? What kinds of amenities do you have? What sort of quirks make it special?
Our space is 5,300 square feet. We have a coffee bar, large open spaces, 3 private conference rooms, outside patio, awesome WiFi, and printing and office supplies are included. Plus, our largest conference table turns into a ping pong table. We are located in the heart of downtown Madeira and everything is walkable – restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores, etc.

What is your favorite thing about operating a coworking space?
I love meeting new people, and having a coworking and event space means I get to do that all day long.

What is your biggest piece of advice for someone wanting to open a space?
The biggest piece of advice: location, location, location. We spent 7 months scouting the perfect location.
