At Proximity, we love coworking because it means people get to work every day surrounded by community – in coworking no one works alone. And we love our company because it means we get to work every day with our team in community. We’ve got some pretty amazing, creative, innovative, and downright cool people here at Proximity and we are grateful that we get to do what we love every day with them, together. Over these next few months, we’ll be giving you a chance to get to know each kick-ass member of our team. Today we’re excited to introduce our newest teammate, our Director of Marketing, Allison Blevins.
Allison is a creator, branding nerd, communicator, connector, story-teller, and all around get-shit-done-r. She believes in community and that marketing only really works through real connection. She joined Proximity to be part of a team that shares her values and works together to accomplish big, audacious goals.
Allison comes to us from a background of entrepreneurship and marketing – she co-owned Tangle, a retail yarn and fabric shop in Grand Junction, CO, for 10 years – and most recently worked in the public sector where she was the Executive Director of the Downtown Grand Junction Business Improvement District, overseeing all aspects of the quasi-governmental organization, including all of Downtown’s branding and marketing. During her time there she launched the wildly popular community-love campaign, #WestSlopeBestSlope.
Allison loves coffee, mid-century design, succulents, shoes, cooking, crafting, travel, hiking, camping, and rafting. She’s married to Josh Hudnall, our Chief Design Officer, and they live together in Grand Junction, CO with two teenaged kids, 300 lavender plants, and one very naughty Dachshund named Dexter.
