Director of Marketing

As companies seek long-term solutions to manage remote and flexible work, Proximity is positioned to help employers achieve the mix of workspace they need and match employees with productive, professional work environments outside of the home or the corporate office.

Proximity is seeking a Director of Marketing to play a critical role in the company’s growth. The Director of Marketing will own brand narrative and lead generation, working closely with Proximity’s Product Specialists to attract qualified leads and continue building relationships with our customers through helpful, valuable communication.

What you’ll do:

  • Own marketing strategy for Proximity’s products and services to clearly communicate our brand, attract new leads and activate current customers
  • Own marketing budget and metrics with a focus on CAC, and collaborate with sales and finance to optimize LTV and new revenue growth
  • Own social media community management, content development and execution to engage our followers and grow our social community
  • Own email marketing initiatives including lead nurture campaigns and customer engagement campaigns
  • Maintain Proximity’s website, including regularly adding and updating content and improving pages for optimal performance
  • Own Proximity’s blog and manage content creation to help educate and support our target audiences
  • Own paid campaigns for search and social media
  • Own virtual events for Proximity Connect, our online community of coworking and flex space owners and managers
  • Collaborate with product, sales and support teams to launch new products, services and programs
  • Create product collateral and slide presentations to support sales (and/or work with our contracted designer to create materials)
  • Own earned media initiatives and paid media releases 
  • Collaborate with sales, support and product roles to fully understand how marketing initiatives can best support company goals, our customers and internal teams

Your skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Proven success driving growth and improvement of metrics you owned
  • Experience with Wordpress, HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Excellent writing skills and a solid understanding SEO best practices
  • Experience owning content for all major social media platforms and engaging with passionate communities
  • Experience managing campaigns using Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Facebook Ad Center
  • Strong self-direction, ability to research and learn from examples
  • Strong focus on outcomes, quality and completeness of work

This position

A competitive salary and opportunities to grow and advance. Range $75,000-$90,000 yearly

Proximity operates as a distributed team on Colorado’s Western Slope. Candidates who are based in this region are preferred. Remote candidates will be considered and relocation assistance may be available.
