Proximity CEO recognized as a top business leader in Colorado

Titan CEO and Wipfli LLP are pleased to announce Proximity CEO Josh Freed as a 2020 Titan 100. The Titan 100 program recognizes Colorado’s Top 100 CEOs and C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that includes demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision and passion. Collectively the 2020 Titan 100 and their companies employ more than 83,000 individuals and generate over $56 billion dollars in annual revenues.

They will be honored at an awards ceremony on September 10 and will be given the opportunity to interact and connect multiple times throughout the year with their fellow Titans.

Proximity is based in western Colorado and software and hardware products are built in Montrose, Grand Junction and Ridgway. The Proximity Network of coworking spaces has experienced rapid growth over the past three years. In 2019 Proximity became one of the first companies in the nation to receive a qualified opportunity zone investment and received additional funding in early 2020 from the CORI Innovation Fund. Proximity also recently completed the acquisition of North Carolina-based SMPL software.
