The Colorado Companies to Watch award honors second-stage organizations primed for impact in Colorado

Right now in Colorado, more companies, talent and funding opportunities are present in our startup ecosystem than ever before. Much of this activity is taking place in the better-known tech regions of Denver and Boulder, but Colorado’s Western Slope is also making progress on local innovation and more job creation from new and growing companies.

Proximity is proud to be part of this growth. We’re excited to share that out of 1,100 nominated companies, we were selected as one of 100 finalists for the Colorado Companies to Watch award.

This program was originally created by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and recognizes organizations advancing from early-stage startup to second-stage company showing traction and promise for future growth. Over the past year, Proximity has achieved a steady increase in our customer base with a focus on successful onboarding, implementation and service. We’ve consistently added new features to our software with the goal of making coworking space operations easier and more streamlined for community managers and members.

The Proximity staff celebrated together at the award ceremony, which is now in its 10th year of recognizing top Colorado organizations. We are honored to receive this nomination and be recognized alongside some of Colorado’s most exciting new companies.

“There’s so much we want to accomplish and this nomination is a really special milestone for our company,” said Josh Freed, CEO of Proximity. “We have a fantastic team and we’re working incredibly hard to help create what we see as the future of work and connection. Our customers continue to help us learn and improve and create a great product. There’s a lot we can build on.”
